Gina Coonrad started her career as a stylist in 1995 by attending cosmetology school in New York. While attending classes she also apprenticed at a well established salon. Upon graduation in 1996 she completed her apprenticeship and began working as a full-time stylist. In 1997 she followed her heart and moved to North Carolina where she married the love of her life who had relocated there in 1996 . They now have three beautiful children.
Gina prides herself on her ability to listen to what her clients want and then delivering and surpassing their expectations. Her goal is for every client to love their experience with her!

Hi, I'm Kirby, the proud co-owner of Bella Capelli Salon, where I partner with my longtime associate, Gina Coonrad. A passion for hair has always been a driving force in my life, and my journey began in high school when I was fortunate enough to take a cosmetology class.
Although I didn’t immediately pursue a career in cosmetology after graduation, I soon realized my desire to return to that path. I enrolled at Mitchell’s Hair Styling Academy and graduated in March 2005. During my time in cosmetology school, I gained valuable experience working as a receptionist at one of Mitchell’s salons in Raleigh. The salon offered numerous educational classes that kept stylists updated on the latest techniques, which played a crucial role in shaping my skills as a stylist.
Today, I remain committed to my professional growth by taking as many continuing education classes as possible. I thrive on the creativity that comes with client challenges, eagerly embracing new styles and trends. Outside of work, I lead a bustling home life with my husband and our blended family of six children. Balancing my professional passion with family life is both rewarding and challenging, but it fuels my dedication to providing the best service possible at Bella Capelli Salon.
Rose Scott

Rose Scott began her journey in hair artistry at the age of 9, assisting her father in his barber shop. After moving to America from the Philippines in 1977 and attending Brooks Beauty School in St. Paul, Minnesota, she refined her skills in colors, highlights, perms, and keratins. Passionate about modern men’s cuts, she continually evolves her craft while cherishing moments with her daughter and two grandsons.
April Scott
Seasoned Stylist with a passion for highlighting and innovative techniques
April began her career at just 15 as a shampoo assistant, learning under Durham’s top stylists. Over the past 20 years, she has refined her craft working with diverse clients while mastering modern cuts and highlighting techniques. Dedicated to continuous learning, April stays updated with new trends and best products, and although she isn't accepting new clients, she remains open to referrals from loyal customers.
